Installation

Our consultant will visit you to determine your system setup. A pre-installation checklist and follow-up conversation will ascertain compatibility with BlackBerry solutions. The consultant will also train the person overseeing the BlackBerry® Enterprise Server.

Prior to installation

  • A pre-installation checklist will be forwarded on to you, so that we can ascertain your requirements. 
  • The consultant will then contact your business about what may and may not work with regards to your system set-up.
  • The appropriate person will be selected and trained in what to look for on the BlackBerry® Enterprise Server.

Installation

The Berkley IT Implementation Services aid businesses in the installation and configuration of their BlackBerry Enterprise Server. The process takes approximately one day, and will involve tailoring the server to your organisation’s needs and adding individual users.

Post-Installation

Once the installation is complete, the Berkley-IT consultant will test the functionality of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server. We’ll also ensure you are knowledgeable about:-

  • Installing and activating additional BlackBerry Handhelds
  • Procedures for loss or theft
  • BlackBerry Enterprise Server statistics and reporting
  • Creating and changing global email filters
  • Procedures for the installation of service packs
  • Creating company policies and security for your BlackBerry solution
  • Over-the-air management

The Installation will include:

  • Installing the BlackBerry® Enterprise Server
  • Configuring the server
  • Adding users to the server
  • Applying service packs (software upgrades that repair problems on a server) on fully managed servers

Once installation has been completed, training dependant on your business requirements is provided. 

An additional service that remotely monitors you BlackBerry® Enterprise your server and fixes any problems can also be provided.
